This demonstration took place at Dundas Square in early 2009, shortly after the “Gaza War”, a three-week conflict between Israel and Hamas. Needless to say, Toronto Police was out in full force, fearing that the demonstration might end up in a clash between the Canadian-Palestinian protesters standing in front of the Eaton Centre, and the people rallying at Dundas Square.
