Well, just when I thought my wedding photography schedule was easing into the fall season, I got contacted by a couple whose reception venue went under and also happened to include a photographer in the package. I don’t know how they did it, but Charlotte and Chris managed to keep their cool and with only two weeks to go before their big day, they managed to pull together a new reception venue, a caterer and a photographer. I met with them on the Monday before their wedding on Saturday. Great couple, very laid back and very much in love with each other. My biggest challenge was that the ceremony and reception combined didn’t last more than 4 and a half hours, so I didn’t get to take as many shots as I usually do, which made it even more challenging during the post processing phase to find a good number of keepers.
